The "great recession" reset the global economy to a "new normal." Everyone is learning to do more with less.

To excel in the new normal, businesses must rethink their work force strategies. Talent, agility, and leadership are more important than ever-and the staffing industry can help clients reconsider their models, optimize their talent, and adapt to change.

The Future of Talent Management and Work Force Solutions.

Thursday, Oct. 14, 8:30–10 a.m.

Staffing industry thought leader Jeff Joerres, CEO of Manpower Inc., will make a keynote address in which he will urge the industry to make the most of the opportunities presented by the post-recession world of work. As companies continue to do more with less, they will increasingly turn to the employment services industry to solve their business and labor problems and for strategic advice, rather than the short-term filling in that used to define staffing.

While there are opportunities, there are also three key challenges facing the industry: Complexity, commodity and legislation. Joerres will explain that these issues must be addressed for the industry to provide full value for clients, candidates, contractors, and employees
