ManpowerGroup continues to earn a number of awards. Here are some examples of our achievements:
- Most Admired - ManpowerGroup was ranked #1 in our industry on Fortune's 2011 list of the World's Most Admired Companies.
- Greenest Big Companies in America - In 2011, ManpowerGroup was named one of the Greenest Companies in America; #1 in the Professional Services category.
- Dow Jones Sustainability Index - In 2011, ManpowerGroup was named to the DJSI for the fourth year running. The DJSI follows a best-in-class approach and ranks leaders from each industry. Companies are assessed based on general and industry-specific criteria, are compared against their peers and ranked accordingly with the leading companies included in the DJSI. Criteria include corporate governance, knowledge management, environmental performance and human rights policies.
- Corporate Responsibility Magazine Lifetime Achievement Award - Chairman and CEO Jeff Joerres was the recipient of this inaugural award in 2011.
- "W" Award - ManpowerGroup received this award in 2011 honoring 20% women on its Board of Directors.
- Fortune Global 50 Most Powerful Women in Business - ManpowerGroup President of Southern Europe Françoise Gri was named to this list for the eighth year in a row in 2011.
- Most Powerful Person in Staffing - ManpowerGroup Chairman & CEO Jeff Joerres received this designation from Staffing Industry Review magazine in 2010.
- AmCham 2010 Corporate Citizenship Award-Manpower Argentina was ranked fourth in the "Sustainability oriented management" list. In 2009, Manpower Argentina was ranked fifth on the list, and the volunteer program, "Intertwined," was also recognized as a best practice in the "Community" category.
- United States Business Leadership Network (USBLN) - 2010 Lead Employer of the Year for national and international leadership for providing opportunities for people with disabilities.
- Towards a Family-Responsible Company - The Fundación Proyecto Padres (Parent Project Foundation) honored Manpower Argentina for its commitment to work-life balance in 2009 and 2010.
- Enrique Shaw 2008 Award - Manpower Argentina was named a "Company that is inclusive through work" by the Christian Association of Company Leaders (ACDE).
- Woodrow Wilson International Award for Corporate Citizenship - In 2008 Chairman and CEO Jeff Joerres honoring those who serve with distinction in public life and share former U.S. President Woodrow Wilson's belief in public discourse and scholarship.
- PINK's Top Companies for Women - In 2009 and 2008, Manpower was named to PINK magazine's list of the Top Companies for Women.
- Best Managed - In 2007, Manpower was included on Forbes' Platinum List of America's 400 Best Managed Companies for the fifth time.
- LEED Gold Certification - "LEED Gold Certification - ManpowerGroup's world headquarters achieved Gold status under the LEED certification system in 2009, the first new building in Milwaukee, WI, to earn that distinction. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System, administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), serves as the benchmark in green building design, construction, operation and maintenance.
- Top 50 CSR Firms - Manpower Mexico was ranked 16th in Mundo Ejecutivo magazine's list of 50 firms with the best social responsibility practices.
- Best Place for Women to Work - In 2006, Manpower was ranked the second-best place for women to work in Mexico in a survey by Mujer Ejecutiva magazine. This was the third year in a row that Manpower has been ranked as one of the top five places for women to work.
- 2006 Caring Company Award - Manpower Hong Kong was recognized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service as a "Caring Company" for the third year in a row, a result of the company's continuing partnership with Rehabilitation Power, an organization dedicated to training and developing people with disabilities to enable them to gain meaningful work in the community.
- Top 30 Companies For Executive Women - The National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) in 2005 named Manpower to its list of the Top 30 Companies for Executive Women.
- 2005 "Inclusive Firm" - In 2005, the Mexican Labor Ministry named Manpower one of 19 "Inclusive Firms" for its merits in hiring people with disabilities.
- Socially Responsible Business 2005 - Manpower was named as a "Socially Responsible Business" by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy for achieving high standards in four areas: corporate ethics, community involvement, environment and work-life balance.
- 2004 Gold Employer of the Year - Manpower was selected for this award by the National Business & Disability Council in the United States for its leadership in expanding opportunities for people with disabilities in the workplace.
- SA 8000 Certificate - Manpower Morocco received the SA 8000 Certificate in 2005, making Manpower one of the first firms in Africa to be recognized for ethical actions in the workplace.
